Ultrasound-guided central venous puncture model

1. Central venous puncture position, with surface landmarks such as the sternocleidomastoid muscle present;

4. The central venous ultrasound puncture module can be used with a real clinical ultrasound machine for exploration. The ultrasound images show the superior vena cava, right brachiocephalic vein, right brachiocephalic trunk, right subclavian vein, and right subclavian artery. The model arm can be used to practice ultrasound-guided PICC placement. The puncture site is made of a high-molecular-weight ultrasound-compatible material, which feels close to real skin and can be used with a real ultrasound machine. The images of various tissue structures (skin, subcutaneous tissue, and blood vessels) are clear and realistic under ultrasound guidance. The movement of the guidewire can be observed under ultrasound guidance, and the correct placement of the catheter can be checked with ultrasound.

5. When performing vascular puncture, a successful puncture can be felt as a breakthrough sensation, which can simulate the outflow of venous blood;

6. The model contains two sets of blood vessels, arteries and veins, each driven by a separate circulation pump;

7. Veins are composed of the superior vena cava, subclavian vein, brachiocephalic vein, and the left and right internal jugular veins, which together with the venous circulation pump form the venous circulation.

8. Arteries are composed of the aorta, left and right subclavian arteries, and left and right internal carotid arteries, which, together with the arterial circulation pump, form the arterial circulation.
